The bus that we lost the engine in was one year off of warranty @150,000 km. International said they would replace the engine for $43,000.

After the filters were changed the bus still will not start. It will crank and crank, but not kick over. If the system is manually primed it will run for about 5 seconds, then chug and stall. All the fuel lines seem tight with no fuel leakage or diesel fuel smell. The guys at Brattains IH said Nstar is still making the 9.3L engines with SCR after treatment , said the new engines are called N9&10. Said they're trying to disassociate with the Maxxforce name, mainly because of the MF13 problems. Guess they made tons of the 13's for the over the road market.
