the thing about the chaos rapier is that is innately infused with fire damage but still benefits from Rob and flynns. best way to use the weapon is 40 dex and no fth/int except minimum requirements, then add on the flynn/rob combo. that is just my opinion on the matter tho. So Ricards has the best dex scaling but medium base dmg, while the Espada has great dex scaling as well and higher base dmg. I honestly don't know at which point the scaling of Ricards outclasses the Espada. I would advice Ricards anyway, because I don't like that the on handed Strong attack of the Espade is a parry.
